J L James is an experienced Certified

Public Accountant, Certified

Management Accountant, and

Chartered Accountant.  Her career

began at Deloitte

where she developed her business

acumen and skills in performing audits

of billion-dollar entities. 

 After graduating from New York

University with an MBA in Finance,

as a Technical Manager

at the American Institute of CPAs,

she provided technical advice

on auditing and accounting standards

to CPAs across the country. 

As Director of Quality Control at a large accounting firm, it was

her responsibility to

perform the final review of audits

and to approve the issuance of 

audited financial statements. 

JL James now uses her wealth of

experience and business acumen 

for community development by

assisting entities in her community.  Her deeply analytical approach and expertise enable her to produce innovative and practicable

resolutions.

 

JL James has a passion for ensuring opportunities for real estate

development are made available to disenfranchised minorities, and so has a particular interest in enabling

minorities to enter the field

of real estate development.
